Accessibility Statement

Conformance status

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Gigawrks is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means most of the product meets the standard, but some parts do not yet. We would rather tell you exactly where those gaps are than claim a conformance level we have not finished earning. The specific gaps are listed under Known limitations.

Measures we take

• Accessibility is part of the design system, not a later pass. Colour, focus, and motion are defined once as shared tokens and reused, so a contrast or focus fix lands everywhere at once rather than component by component.
• Text scales and the page zooms. We do not suppress pinch-zoom on any surface, and layouts are checked at 400% zoom and at a 320 px viewport width.
• Everything is reachable by keyboard. Interactive elements are real buttons and links, dialogs trap and restore focus, and a visible focus indicator is enforced globally.
• Motion respects your system settings. If your operating system requests reduced motion, animation and smooth scrolling are switched off.
• Pages are reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA. Public pages are checked with an automated accessibility scanner and by hand. Automated testing catches only part of what matters, so it never runs alone.

Compatibility with assistive technology

Gigawrks on the web is designed and tested to work with:

• VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS
• NVDA with Firefox on Windows
• Keyboard-only navigation in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari
• Browser zoom to 400%, and operating-system text-size settings
• Windows High Contrast / forced-colors mode

Gigawrks may still work with other combinations, but those are the ones we actively test. Internet Explorer is not supported.

Known limitations

These are the gaps we know about. Each one is tracked, and we will update this list as they are closed.

• Some older signed-in screens. Parts of the calendar and payment screens predate our current design system and have not been fully re-audited for keyboard order and labelling. Target: Q4 2026.
• Mobile apps. Our iOS and Android apps do not yet honour the system text-size setting throughout, so text may not scale for you there even though it does on the web. Target: Q4 2026.
• User-generated content. Images, files, and messages uploaded by other people may lack alternative text. We cannot add descriptions to content we did not write, but we prompt authors to supply them.
• Some secondary pages are not published yet. A few links in the site footer point to pages that are still being written and currently return a "not found" page. The footer's Support column is no longer among them — Help Center, Report a Concern, this page, and the FAQ are all live.

Feedback and how to reach us

If you hit a barrier on Gigawrks, please tell us. Reports from people who actually use assistive technology are the most useful signal we get, and we would rather hear about a problem than have you work around it.

Our commitment: we aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to give you a substantive response — either a fix, a workaround, or a target date — within 10 business days.

It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and which browser and assistive technology you were using. If that is inconvenient, send what you have; we will follow up.

How this was assessed

This statement is based on a self-evaluation carried out by the Gigawrks engineering team. The assessment combined:

• automated scanning of every public page against WCAG 2.2 AA;
• manual keyboard-only walkthroughs of the main flows;
• manual screen-reader review with VoiceOver and NVDA;
• measured colour-contrast checks of the design system's colour tokens; and
• layout review at 400% zoom, at 320 px width, and with increased text spacing.

We have not yet commissioned a third-party audit. When we do, we will say so here and publish the result.

Formal complaints

If you contact us about an accessibility barrier and are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, which enforces the ADA. Contacting us first is not required, but it is usually the fastest route to an actual fix.

This statement was created on August 14, 2026 and is reviewed at least annually, and again whenever we ship a significant change to the product.
